Depart Nairobi early and drive north through changing landscapes into the semi-arid region of Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After some rest, head out for an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where wildlife gathers. Samburu is known for unique species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Dinner and overnight in Samburu.
Spend the day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. The riverine forests and open plains offer excellent wildlife viewing, including elephants, lions, and leopards. Enjoy the quieter, less crowded atmosphere compared to southern parks. Overnight in Samburu.
After breakfast, drive south towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located near Mount Kenya. Arrive for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is renowned for rhino conservation and offers opportunities to see both black and white rhinos. Overnight in Ol Pejeta.
Full day exploring the conservancy with game drives and optional visits to the chimpanzee sanctuary. The conservancy offers a mix of wildlife viewing and conservation education. Overnight in Ol Pejeta.
Drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride among hippos and birdlife, followed by a guided walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes and zebras. Overnight by the lake.
Transfer to the coast via flight or train connection. Arrive at Diani Beach and relax at your resort. Overnight at the beach.
